would you recommend a computer shop?

let'say here in new york..
i see a lot of computer shops,but i don't which ones have good reputation
for fixingpc's,buying,etc
gotta be great to have a section that some people recommends.

I personally would not, If its an issue I can possibly fix I'll offer to do it myself.

I don't think a dedicated section is required. If anyone has a good computer shop to recommend he/she can start a thread in the Other Tech Talk forum for example.
