Microsoft has more or less managed to scare everyone when the company managed, together with the FBI, to arrest Windows leaker Alex Kibkalo and send him to prison for three months.

Of course, such news made the headlines all over the world, so it's no surprising that some other groups that were leaking Microsoft information and software, including the Russian team WZOR, suspended their activity all of a sudden.

Earlier this year when Microsoft announced Kibkalo's arrest, WZOR suspended activity on Twitter and removed his website, which pretty much made everyone believe that he had some sort of connection with this particular case.

Now it turns out that WZOR has absolutely no relationship with Kibkalo and in a statement published by a group representative, they say that all their accounts would become active once again anytime soon.

Myce.com found WZOR's statement on a Russian forum and translated it to English, adding that the group was forced to remain “quiet” for a time due to Kibkalo's arrest, but reveals that both the Twitter account and the blog are expected to be back online sometime these weeks.

While WZOR and Kibkalo barely knew each other from their online activity before the investigation, the statement clearly states that the two have never meet in person are “very unlikely to meet in the future.”

Of course, we're not very sure if Microsoft is pleased with such news, but there's no doubt that the entire user community is happy to hear that WZOR returns.

As you know, Microsoft is already working on two important projects for Windows users, namely Windows 8.1 Update 2 and Windows 9, so WZOR's comeback clearly made some people dream about getting these two releases way before their official debuts.

According to rumors, Microsoft is planning to launch the second Windows 8.1 update sometime in August or September, so the return of the Russian Windows leakers could be nicely celebrated with some information on what's to come in this new pack of improvements.

As far as Windows 9 is concerned, everyone expects it to launch in April 2015 and people familiar with the matter said that Microsoft is already working on it, which means that if any information is available, WZOR now has the chance to let everyone know about it.

Everyone is still wondering whether the Start menu would be part of the second Windows 8.1 update or of Windows 9, so it's time for someone to put things straight in this case.
