Probably already been done somewhere. But i'd be interested to know.

Mine was a Compaq from 1998 (can't remember model) running Windows 98

20gb HDD
128 mb ram
AMD K6

I remember the modem was faulty and had to get it replaced the next day (not a good start)

Served me well though. :)

My first computer is that I'm using now but the monitor is a CRT before.

This is the specification before (The first computer without upgrade like RAM before)

Windows XP
Intel Pentium 4
Something like 512 MB ram before.

The first one that i can remember is an ms-dos machine that used those gigantic floppy discs.

The first machine that was mine alone, was also one i bought and assembled myself.
It was an 3.2GHz AMD Athlon XP with 512MB ram and a GeForce 5600 graphics card. :)

Those were the days :D

8" or 5.25"?

My first PC was an Apple II Plus. No modem, two 5.25" floppy drives, (HD's didn't exist in home computers) green monochrome monitor, and 48kb of RAM. (yes, that's kilobytes...) You needed to insert a boot disk every time you turned on the machine to load the OS.

--- FIRST PC --- :@

Acer (Something forget model)
OS - Windows Vista Home Premium 32-Bit.
CPU: Intel® Pentium 4 CPU 3.00Ghz, 1 core. 2 logical.
RAM: 1GB DDR2
HDD: 25GB
ODD: Not to sure but was a very slow burner.
VGA: No NVIDIA or ATI etc. Just Intel. (Couldn't even play flash games)
DIS: Small black Acer CRT monitor 1024 x 740 res.

Thoughts: Slow piece of crap to be honest, made me rage many times... Was happy at first with it but the more I used it the more I hated it. Was always experiencing slow downs and freezes.

I had this PC for 3 years before finally being able to get a new one.

I wish I kept this old PC for a malware testing machine but I had to trash it.

--- NEW PC --- :D

Acer Aspire AX1800
OS - Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
CPU - Q8300 Intel® Core™ 2 Quad Processor @ 2.50Ghz 2.50Ghz
RAM - 4GB DDR2
HDD - 1TB (Got given an EXHDD 320GB)
ODD - DVD Super-Multi Drive
VGA - GT320 1024MB NVIDIA® GeForce® (Can play flash games, All PC games (that I have) on Max graphic settings)
DIS - 23.6INCH LCD V243HQ Monitor (Acer) 1920 x 1080.

As you can see BIG improvement.. very satisfied with my new PC.

Only thing I'd like to do is future proof myself and upgrade to 8GB RAM.
