When using ZenMate, if you use a torrent client to download is that connection protected?

ZenMate for Chrome, protects your browser only.

The torrent client software you have installed may have various privacy settings, including anonymity.

You may want to check out PeerBlock.

Personal use is free.
Enterprise use isn't.

Other FAQ: https://zenmate.io/faq#why-free
How can ZenMate be free, how do you make money?

First off: There are no obligations – you're always in control!
ZenMate is free and always will be. You will never be charged without your consent.

During our market rollout we offer accounts with unlimited traffic to all new signed up users for a limited amount of time. In the future we will offer free accounts with a limited amount of monthly traffic and several versions of paid premium accounts with unlimited monthly traffic and additional features. Early users will always have the possibility to stay with our free plan later on or change into a paid plan once they are introduced.

Your account will always remain at no costs by default and only switch into a paid premium account if you explicitly wish to do so.

There was post about ZenMate posted somewhere, but cannot find the post. It basically mentioned the Paid (Enterprise) version provided higher speeds than the Free (Consumer) version. At the moment, the speeds are identical. See their response below:
I contacted ZenMate and they said:
No, there is currently no difference.
But enterprise users can ask for special conditions for their company and the team will investigate if this is possible and how much it will cost.

What's New in 3.6
Many thanks to our more than 3 million ZenMates around the world – it's great to have you with us! We've recently added more than 150 servers to our security cloud to always provide you with the fastest speed possible and continue to do so. We've also fixed some minor bugs in this update, like an authentication dialog appearing sometimes.

They are also hiring.
