The promise of artificial intelligence was front and center at this year’s CES gadget show. But spicing up a simple machine like a refrigerator with unnecessary AI was also a surefire way to win the “Worst in Show.”

The annual contest that no tech company wants to win announced its decisions Thursday. Among those getting the notorious “anti-awards” for invasive, wasteful or fragile products were an eye-tracking AI “soulmate” companion for combating loneliness, a musical lollipop and new AI features for Amazon’s widely used doorbell cameras.

A.I fridges lol.... I suppose it needs to understand how long the door is open for and how chilled my ice cubes are.

I'd actually like a A.I. toilet, warm the seat up when its cold, spray fragrances before and after, read me the news.
The Japanese ones also analyze your poop and alert you if they discover a possible disease process.

Now you know why the leader of North Korea take his poop with him when he travels.

Years ago I was in Japan and noticed the toilet had a (wired) control with all a lot of functions (with Japanese text). As a dumb foreigner I started to randomly pressing buttons. Luckily it was winter and someone had turned up the heat like crazy in the washing room, so I stood in the door opening to let fresh (colder) air in. Off course this advanced toilet also had a bidet function and the water jet only splashed the wall.
