Hi Everyone,

My Dad somehow managed to get infected with a program that calls itself 1st Pro Cleaner. It warns him that his computer is at risk and offers to help him clean it if he clicks either a link or a button. My brother tried uninstalling the program using the control panel and then cleaned the registry of all references to it, but he cannot seem to get it off the computer. I have searched all over the internet and can find no references to this little maleware monster. Does anyone know anything about it and how we might proceed in getting it totally removed from the computer? Unfortunately, my Dad is 150 miles away and I can't see the whole problem from here.

Thanks for ANY suggestions!
Leslie

Thank you, I sent this on to my brother who is working with the machine. If he sends it back to me, I will post it here.

I really appreciate your assistance!
