This is my top wish list, to have a virus-total second-option scanner! It would be very basic, only scheduled scans and a scan button, plus license info (if paid). When the scan results come up, they would have a basic report (8/51 blocked or 40/51 blocked) and an option to display an advanced view which would give individual reports from each engine, like the website. You can click Block/Allow/Ignore.
The only product that (might) come close is HitmanPro. A wonderful (hopefully futuristic) app that will give best security
