4.41.0 - 2026-06-23
  • Inline CSS filters are now applied using CSS stylesheets where possibleinstead of element hiding emulation. This results in a performanceimprovement, but does not otherwise affect functionality.
  • Updated snippets to 2.12.0
  • Fixed: Addressed certain errors that have the potential of causing CPU spikes for some users (OM-808).

4.43.0 - 2026-08-04
  • Added: Support for Premium reverse-trial on-page dialogs, shown and configuredvia remote configuration. When another eyeo extension is installed alongside, only one reverse-trial dialog is shown per page.
  • The screenshot editor's "Highlight" and "Hide" tool buttons are now alwayslabelled in English, so they match the hint and warning texts that refer tothem by those names.
  • Fixed: The redesigned issue reporter showed untranslated English text in everylanguage, because none of the strings it added had translations.
  • Added: Additional anonymous usage data collection, governed by the existingdata collection opt-out setting.
  • Dropped support for Chrome/Edge below 127.0, Firefox/Firefox for Androidbelow 128.0, and Opera below 113.0 in accordance with the browserdeprecation policy.

4.43.4 - 2026-09-01
  • Added an experiment to test impression caps on on-page dialogs.
  • Fixed: The "An issue has caused your ABP settings to be reset todefault" warning could appear even though nothing had actually beenlost, on both new and existing installs. On Manifest V3, this alsocovered the browser terminating the background service worker partway through adding or updating filter lists — a genuine risk ofending up with subscriptions missing or incomplete — which theextension now guards against by keeping the service worker alivewhile this is in progress.
  • Fixed: Chrome could log an unchecked runtime.lastError ("Cannot createitem with duplicate id block_element") after the background serviceworker restarted, since the "block element" context menu item was stillregistered from before the restart.
  • Fixed: The conflict-detection partner-extension ping could throw anuncaught error on Chromium browsers when it reached a Firefox-onlyextension ID in its list, which also silently skipped pinging everyextension listed after it.

4.45.0 - 2026-09-29
  • Added support for snippet exception filters (domain#@$#command). A snippetexception disables any command of a snippet filter (#$#) that parses tothe same command and arguments, on the domains the exception is active on.Snippet filters whose commands are all disabled are no longer returned bysnippets.getFilters(); filters with only some commands disabled arereturned with the remaining commands as their script. Unlike snippetfilters, snippet exceptions require neither a privileged subscription nor adomain restriction.
  • Fixed default filter lists not being restored on Firefox after they had allbeen removed, if a filter had previously been added by an experiment
  • Fixed a race condition that could cause an on-page dialog to silently fail toreappear after same-tab navigation
