Q: Which adblocker/adgaurd do you use if any?
A: I use AdGuard for Windows (installer, not plugin)
Q:How long have you been using it for?
A: Almost 2 years on plugin, 1 year on installer (while I was using Firefox, I had AG plugin.. now that I am on IE11, I use Installer)
Q:How would you rate AdGuard from 0/10<YOUR ADBLOCKER HERE>
A: 7/10 before support staff helped me flush out some issues... 9.5/10 at the moment

However, if I was on SlimJet again, I'd be going with uBlock, fo-shizzle...

ABP on Chrome and Maxthon, built-in AdBlocker on Dolphin Android browser.
Too many uBlock versions to keep track of, wonder when uBlock #99 is coming out and who will be maintaining it?

Adguard
I was using Adblock Plus on Firefox and Pale Moon then switched to Adblock Edge, after Pale Moon started using its own ID I switched to Adblock Latitude in Pale Moon.

On Slimjet and Aviator I'm using ublock, on Linux ublock and umatrix in Chromium.

Stopped using Adblock because it became to heavy and started to allow some ads.

It is somewhere around 8-10/10 for all of them except Adblock Plus.

Also Element Hiding Helper which is very helpful sometimes.

Hello everyone!
  • I use µBlock
  • I use it since its first WIP release
  • By heart, I'd give it a hundred percent mark, but perfection doesn't exist, so I'll just go with a 9 out of 10! Much faster, much more powerful, much lighter than any other adblocker around (especially this shameful A****** P***)! There is only one thing that could make it better... Releasing it for non-Chromium based Web browser so that everyone can enjoy it!

Hi,Ublock does work on non-chromium browsers. FIREFOX! Mobile and desktop/laptop. Also works on Opera, with some adjustments. But of course,Opera switched to Blink.

Q: Which adblocker/adgaurd do you use if any?
A: I use Adguard (client version).
Q: How long have you been using it for?
A: Almost 7 months.

Why Adguard?
Blocks ads up before they are loaded into the browser.
Works in any browser.
Remove ads from Skype, uTorrent and other applications.
Helps to protect from malware and scams.
Constantly updated blacklists of malicious and phishing sites.

Adguard client - 9.5/10
Adguard extension - 6.5/10
uBlock - 7.0/10

Note:
Adguard uses two main sources.
First is the list of Google Safe Browsing.
Second is Adguard own blacklists.

Which adblocker/adgaurd do you use if any?
I use Adguard Extension
How long have you been using it for?
2 weeks

I actually like uBlock and Adguard. I was using uBlock, but it passed into other hands, then I switched to Adguard.
If someone asks me about adblockers or if I am on healing an infected PC. I add Adgaurd extension to browsers. It can block malicious-phishing URLs (within Netcraft + WOT database) So, it will block ads and harmful URLs.
Nothing is perfect but this time Adguard seems better with its features.

1) uBlock
2) ~ 1 month- since it was recommended on MT.
3) 9.5/10. It is lighter than ABP, yet can use more lists. I also LOVE the little dropper where you can selectively remove annoying parts of webpages. I find this strangely addictive and satisfying to do:p. It really is perfect for websites that hide text behind something asking you to join, or things like that.

ABP and Adguard here.

Did use uBlock previously but was a bit buggy for my taste. After the new iteration, things just got worse.

ABP uses a bit more resources than AdGuard but still manageable.

ABP used since it first came out in FF, Adguard recently (still use both).

Nothing is perfect, so will rate 8/10 on both.

I'm currently using Adguard for windows.
Been using it for 12 days now (trial version).
I would rate it at 8.5 out of 10.

So far I like it, thinking of purchasing it once the trial period ends soon!
