There's no 100% security and 100% privacy, but... can you name a one case where this happened? ...that a government of a (real) democratic country forced a VPN company to track just one user and handed them user data...Do they collect logs? Probably not. Can they be forced to turn on logging or their servers subverted to log targeted users? Most likely.
But that's the problem with any VPN/privacy service.
Trust me... if we had that, no criminal would be free. Yet, you still have pedophiles torrenting child porn over VPNs. No, really. Connect to a popular VPN service and visit iknowwhatyoudownload.com; chances are child porn was torrented from an IP address you're connected to.
