Now this was very interesting IMO and also reading about the socalled Super Cookies ( see links below ). WebRTC that's briefly mentioned in the video is one way users could be tracked but it's also Always Always recommended blocking WebRTC especially when using VPN as otherwise your real local IP will leak. Simply protected by installing an addon in your browser. IE is not effected.

Opera : WebRTC Control
Crome : Not tested as I don't have it and it seams the addons that's available got bad reviews.
