If you want to optimize, try uBlock in your browsers..
and I suggest you to use HTTPS Everywhere in browsers.

Backup and Recovery is one of the vital important component so you can keep important files in case of emergency/creating system image with built in feature of Windows or third party program like Macrium Reflect/others.
