Turkish TV powerhouse Ay Yapim is launching its first AI-generated series, “Castle Walls,” which focuses on the enigmatic story of present-day Iran’s Alamut Castle.

I used to be a big fan of Turkish series, but I stopped watching them because three hours or more per episode is too long for me.

I don't think it will be successful because what people want to see and be moved by is how well the actor can convey the character's emotions, and AI will not give them that.

Never watched Turkish drama before, and not even following local drama; only American and few European.

I am only concerned of replacing "real" by "AI-created".

But people enjoy watching the banana who betrayed her husband, Mr watermelon. And the often sad cat vids on Instagram. AI-generated content will become the norm.

Why do they really include this storyline in every drama series? 🤔 Anyway, I think it's difficult for AI to learn and depict 3sk; 😍 it might even malfunction if it watched the Magnificent Century series. 😆

Not necessarily. As long as screenplay writers are clever and make good story lines, directors make innovative camera work, and just let AI do the grunt work of animation, then the end results will be good.
It is like watching a video game while eating popcorn.

3 hours or more per episode? I'm surprised.

I remember my Indian colleagues saying their movies last 3 to 4 hours and mostly drama and dancing in between. I thought they were joking.

Now I wonder how long does Turk movie last.

Indian films can occasionally take longer, but Turkish films are typically shorter—about two hours—than Turkish dramas. Turkish dramas typically run between 2.15 and 2.30 hours, but this is not always the case, so some may run up to three hours. The main problem is that most dramas don't have a set schedule, so as long as there is a fan base, they will continue to air for more seasons; the only way to stop this is to lose interest.

"Siyah Beyaz Aşk" was the only Turkish drama that I can recall ending after about 32 episodes, despite being extremely successful. It was fantastic in comparison to other shows that I watched every episode three times in anticipation of the next one, which aired every week.

You bring back fond memories of the good old days.
