That's my PC config. I do most of the secure work on linux so I only require moderate security. Any suggestions for improvement?

Good config! If you want you can add Zemana AntiMalware Free and use it for on-demand scan.

So far so good on the configuration, likely tweak KIS based on your user preferences especially in Application Control.

Other then being curious as to why/how you have windows firewall enabled with KIS 2016 which contains its own firewall? Config looks great.

True, I missed that. Strange though, Kaspersky never mentions firewall anywhere in the application.

If you have the full Kapsersky Internet security suite as listed above, it contains the firewall, it can be found in your settings, under protection.
