Oh boy, I am fighting with possible malware and Trojan virus for the last 3 days. I checked and rechecked everything, performed many, many scans, and I am still unsure...:(

I have AdBlock extension on Chrome and a brand new user profile, so Chrome is working fine, but I can see that the ads are still there, they are just blocked... As to IE, it is still misbehaving, in spite of added Adblock Plus, the ads are still there and I am not even able to log in from IE to some of the sites I am active in. And my favorite browser Torch I have deleted completely, for I thought that it was infected the most... All major scans return now with no threats found, but I just know something still stinks there...

I will highly appreciate every advice you can give. I trust you guys completely and will share my troubles and your expertise in every community I am active in. Thank you.

Hi,

First I would like you to Zip this folder, and to upload it here --> http://zippyshare.com/
Copy download link here.

Folder to upload --> C:\Windows\Microsoft

How to zip a File or Folder
--> http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/175864-zip-file-folder-how.html

***** NEXT *****

Download attached fixlist.txt on the same location as FRST (otherwise the fix won't work)
NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to the operating system

Open FRST, and click Fix. Attach me that report after it is finished.

I have another problem now. My son, hearing about my issues and knowing that I truly need a dependable computer, just bought me a brand new Toshiba laptop. I have downloaded there my Chrome and FireFox, moved there several of my documents, and... I have there same issue, ads and pop-outs all over. I feel like crying, but I am hoping that if with your help, I get rid of malware on my desktop, I will be able to do the same at that new, window 8 laptop. BTW, I've never worked yet on Windows 8, so now I have a double challenge, not only learn to work on that computer but fix it too... My new Toshiba came with a full one month Norton protection, so I haven't expected alike problems there...

Thank you, I tried the fixes, with the software and by myself with Run Command, my FF still is not working. I will delete it and try to re-install, but my Chrome is working perfectly, it is fast and I do not have any ads.

All over IE I still have the nasty flash player download ads...

Or maybe you recommend not downloading FF at all, and working on Chrome only? I want to listen to your recommendations. I need though at least two browsers to work at some of the programs I am involved with.
