Hello, It's my config.

Like in the past, I used to have like Comodo IS with paranoid mode, sandboxie, cryptoprevent,... and much more. But it mades a lot of errors when I debugged my softwares and stuff, so I needed to change.

It's a very light config, I did not get any malwares since a long period of time ^^
For me, it's perfect :)

Thanks

I love the config just add another on demand scanner like Malwarebytes Free or Zemana. :)
Thanks you, usually if I think that I got a malware, I'm launching Process Explorer to do a rapid overview, and after that I launch RogueKiller :) I don't like too much background security software

Macrium Reflect is solid, and it has a free edition. If down the road you feel like shelling out money, Acronic True Image.
Ok thanks you

Other than some type of data and system backups your config is very good!!
I would consider making the move to Windows 10 before the end of July
You can backup all your data and important stuff to an HDD,USB or something such as Dropbox,Mega or similar.
Thanks for sharing your config :)

Thanks, I actually have a HDD so I will do it soon

Good config. If you do encounter malware problems, just upgrade to a internet security suite. That should be enough.
Thanks, you just need to know what you're doing to not get infected ^^ IS are not for me...

Your config seems very secure. There shouldn't be any more software you need to add. :p

However, like other members recommended above, it is advised to take advantage of the Windows 10 upgrade (Windows 10 is gradually improving to become a very capable OS), and add a backup solution.

If you only need to backup individual files, then using regular copy & paste should suffice. Otherwise, you may want to create system backup images of known good states of your system, so that you can use the images to restore those exact states in case of a disaster, such as a software malfunction or a malware infection.

Other than that, you should be good to go. Thanks for sharing your config with us! :p

Thank you for sharing your light configuration amph3tam!ne; and although I am extraordinarily lazy, I do agree with those whom have recommended upgrading Windows 8.1 to 10.
If you do consider upgrading to 10, here is an excerpt from an article that helped me a great deal:
  • "Microsoft doesn't offer an option to do a clean install if you're upgrading using Windows Update. The only way to perform a clean install is by manually downloading the Windows 10 installation files.

Using the Windows 10 Setup tool, you can choose to "Upgrade this PC now" or "Create installation media for another PC". Choosing the "Upgrade this PC now" will give you the choice to keep all of your files and apps. If you choose to keep your files and apps, you will be doing an in-place upgrade. Choosing not to keep your files and apps can be considered as the option to do a clean install."
Source - What's better: Clean install or upgrade to Windows 10?
Downloading Windows 10 Setup tool was a much smoother experience upgrading from 8.1 than it was when we did not download the upgrade tool to upgrade my wife's 7. She decided to go back to Windows 7. Reverting back was as quick as it usually is waiting on Microsoft updates!

Now, we have returned her to 10 (again) before the expiration to upgrade "free". I advise using the Windows 10 setup tool, and not upgrading as a Windows update. When given the choices of what to keep, she opted to keep her files while not retaining her apps & programs. These are easily replaced. This has left her Vaio lap top much :eek:quicker and far more functional then before. Be prepared to let your computer run/restart/stop/& re-start, again, for many hours. Your patience will be well rewarded, and is well worth it even for those of us whom are lazy!o_O :p:D

Fine configuration, if you will follow the suggestions made by our members then insist to upgrade Windows 10, but make sure to migrate another AV because Bitdefender Free is not yet compatible on that OS. ;)
