Have you checked if Avast, BD, etc. can detect the tested sample when certutil is already blocked?
Not with this particular code which is unique. I was pressed for time so only did this one which I felt was appropriate. However, knowing how things work, I am certain that K would have no issues with it at all.

As I'll be in Australia for the next few months I doubt that thee will be other videos for a while with the exception of a short WF one which is already scheduled for release this weekend.

Nicely done this one (y)
According to ESET tech documents, Ransomware Shield is supposed to show a notification to let users decide what to do when it detects ransomware activity. But I'm not sure if anyone ever saw it in action:
Have you checked if Avast, BD, etc. can detect the tested sample when certutil is already blocked?
yes, that was my question, so ESET = suboptimal as it did not block the dual attack, so then which AV, (excluding Comodo Firewall ) if any, does block this exact same attack?
(I see or it looks like you think Kaspersky would block this attack...) any others as K is apparently getting "problematic" in near future in US.
