  1. This test shows how an antivirus behaves with certain threats, in a specific environment and under certain conditions.
We encourage you to compare these results with others and take informed decisions on what security products to use.
Before buying an antivirus you should consider factors such as price, ease of use, compatibility, and support. Installing a free trial version allows an antivirus to be tested in everyday use before purchase.

People that bash or praise anything obsessively need to get a hobby, really, what are they gaining by it other then more stress. Chill fools.
Well, aggressive Comodo and Comodo fanbois/fangirl bashing has always been an epidemic (or mental disorder, whichever you believe it to be) on security forums everywhere. The bashing is not limited to MT. This is true as the forum membership has changed like a revolving door over the decades.

I mean, everyone has the right to disagree, criticize, and debate - but what I've observed within the past few years - the targeting of Comodo and its dedicated users crosses the line. The detractors have use very personal language and said things about Comodo and, in particular, Comodo influencers that are personal attacks.

Whether I agree or disagree or not with influencers or dedicated users, I shall always defend an influencer's or user's right to post and say whatever they want as long as it is legal. For targeted cancel culture campaigns against those influencers to silence them or get them to leave the platform, I will call out that BS and defend the influencers or users and their rights.

It's the right thing to do.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don't think some people here understand what we're talking about, or even complaining about. Perhaps because they don't understand, they end up defending sides or positions that, let's face it, are not only unnecessary, but also ridiculous. The fact is that to pretend nothing is happening, some go so far as to ignore the facts and even try to belittle tests like those performed by Avlabs. This, in my view, is the height of negligence, just to defend company A or B—that is, their favorite companies. What I (and others) have been denouncing are these flaws in both the product and the company, and all these complaints, whether in messages, threads on official forums, or videos, demonstrate these things, prove the problems, etc. I know there are those who simply want to watch the circus burn and simply complain about anything, which is not my case, nor that of several other members of this forum or members of the Comodo and Xcitium forums themselves. But at the end of the day, the company is the best in the world, its product is infallible, and anyone who says otherwise is a liar or an opportunist. And this kind of attitude has been demonstrated before and is repeated again.

Well, that's it. I wish everyone success and hope that people like the guy hiding behind the cruelsister profile reflect on their attitudes and stances, because at the end of the day, all of this only hurts them, not others.

It's like he (or she) himself has said on another occasion: something, etc., etc., dogs bark...

Typical, right?

These behaviors exist for all things in the world - from socks to games to Prime Ministers (or Presidents).

It's why Discord exists and is named "Discord." It is why every political, stock/investing, and gamer forum is a complete shite show.

That said, people are entitled to their own opinion - right, wrong, or otherwise - and possess a right to express it. That is far, far more important than if others believe their opinion is wrong and must be defended at any cost when there are those in the world that don't want them to express it (as long as they do so peacefully).

It would be nice if there were meaningful, considered, measured, insightful back-and-forth debate but the hoomans don't function that way, especially not on the internet. The internet is like digital "Block Wars" (from the movie Dredd). Always has been. Always shall be.

Cruelsister does not want/refuses in to participate on this forum or elsewhere much beyond posting videos and then slinking away, perhaps returning once to a thread to make some trivial point or quip. So much of what people who view Cruelsisters' content think it states is the viewers' interpretations and assumptions. There's a lot of room for error by the consumer of Cruelsister content since there is not much to make an accurate interpretation.

Any product producer has no obligation to any of its product users except 1) when there is a contract that exists between producer and product user, and/or 2) there are regulations that apply to that product. Social acceptability, ethics, and morality are superfluous.

My questions are "Why do some people continue to beat the Comodo dead horse because they don't like what its fanbois/fangirlz do, say, don't do, and don't say?" and "Why are some people so devoted to a product?" and "What do they gain from promoting it?" and "Why do some people feel compelled to fight the promoters?" I think it is weird, strange behaviors when it crosses a certain level.

The best method to get people to shut up and go away online is to ignore them. Actively and openly opposing them only gives them what they want and they will just keep doing what they're doing. I tried for years to teach a few here that lesson, but they're evidently quite stupid as it they didn't get the point of the lesson for over a decade. And yet, still, they can't control themselves.

Or maybe she's just too smart to get engaged in that sort of stuff that goes no where and usually results in a thread being closed.
Closing threads because of intense, sanguinous arguments and debates is just more proof that the Romulans were right about the hoomans.

Closing threads, deleting content, modifying content - even having a "Report" capability - is ridiculous. But this is the digital world in a new era of much increased mental and emotional sensitivity. Tattle-telling and moderation are expected. So are "Safe Spaces" and "Echo Chambers." smh

What's even more ridiculous is that people, generally, think that the person or thing that upsets them is what should be stopped instead of they, themselves, controlling their emotions.

The first rule of hooman psychology is: "If you allow someone or something to upset you, then you are the problem - and not whatever upset you. You are responsible for controlling your emotions. You can still do something about what upset you, but reacting and lashing out like a sensitive person that is hurt by words ain't acceptable."

This is established and accepted within the psychology body of knowledge.

If you allow someone...to upset you, then you are the problem" puts the onus entirely on the target of the abuse. This is a classic victim-blaming tactic. Psychology does not support the idea that the target of abuse is "the problem." The problem is the abuser and their actions. Your emotional pain is a normal and healthy response to being attacked.

While you are responsible for how you manage your emotions, you are not responsible for the fact that you have them. Feeling hurt, angry, or scared when being bullied by a group is not a failure of emotional control, it's a natural human response to a social threat. The cause of the distress is the external attack, not an internal failing.

Applying a simple self-help rule to a complex situation of abuse is inappropriate and ignores the established psychological understanding of bullying, trauma, and social aggression.
