Hi , I have an older android phone version 4 android ,I also have a wifi camera that I use and the app for it no longer works with the new version .I have to use the older app version which works for my older android phone. The problem is the updating of the app on its own which reverts to newer version of that app .My question is does anyone know of any app which stops updates of android apps ? Thks

Thanks for reply ,I can't do that because that playstore version does not work ,it is the newer version. I have the older version on my phone ready to install which works but I don't want that version updated. Thks

* get the Apk you wanna detach (eg using TitaniumBackup)
* install ZipSigner from play store
* re-sign the extracted Apk using ZipSigner and test key
* uninstall the original app and install the re-signed Apk

seems this might work ,will have to try it Thks

Wait, if you're rooted and have Titanium backup, It has a setting thats called remove market link or something like that. That should be enough.

Yes.

Inside PlayStore, you select don't update app, other methods require a bit more knowledge, like detach the app from PlayStore, resign the APK, etc...

The thing that this app is looking for is called Min SDK Level.

Regards :)
