I used both Avast & Kaspersky, but I didn't find any Sandbox feature in K like Avast. Avast has a Sandbox feature that allows us to run applications or browse websites in an isolated environment. So how effective is it? Since K is better than Avast. Is this feature not visible in the Kaspersky settings?

Kaspersky does have a similar feature called Safe Run or Application Control, which provides an isolated environment. As for effectiveness, it depends on the user's needs. Avast's Sandbox is quite effective for testing suspicious files or websites. Kaspersky's overall security suite is often rated higher, but it doesn't mean Avast's Sandbox is inferior.

Is this the feature available in K home products?

No, the Safe Run or Application Control feature is not typically available in Kaspersky's home products. It's usually found in their business or enterprise solutions.
Okay, Avast home products (Paid edition) offers the feature. Since K is better than Avast, home user can expect the feature from Kaspersky home products.

While Kaspersky is often rated higher overall, each antivirus software has its strengths. Avast's inclusion of the Sandbox feature in their home products is indeed a plus. Kaspersky may consider adding similar features in the future based on user feedback and market trends.

Okay, that means I have to turn on hardware virtualization to use the feature? How can I turn this on?
I am not sure; never used before; my PC has low specs for virtualization.
I suppose it can be enabled from control panel: programs and features: turn windows features on or off: Hyper-v

I apologize; my answer was incorrect.
After further search, you have to enable Virtual Machine Platform, not hyper-v.
In addition, it has to be enabled through BIOS.

Kaspersky home paid products have Safe Money, a sandbox but only for supported browsers. In the past, I recall around 2011, K. product had a full sandbox environment (Safe Run), but was removed shortly after because it was a great consumption of resources.

In current K. home products, if You want to use K. virtualization Hypervisor, in W11 You have to disable settings in Core Isolation (apart of having HW virtualization settings also enabled in BIOS):

But that service, it is a very advanced isolated environment for professionals, and You don't manage it in Your local system.
