Yes, one needs to be cautious before using any software from this vendor. The WOT rating is also not good. I hope experts here can tell more, but I'm giving it a miss.

It's not malicious, however it's in the crapware category of programs. Anvisoft develops very questionable software , if I were you I would just go with a known and reputable Adblocker like: Adblock Plus, uBlock or Adguard....

If you are thinking to not only blocks ads but also kep your PC safe from unwanted & malicious pop up ads and flash ads then Anvi AD BlockerPro would be a great piece of ad blocker software which filter to connections to detect & blocks different types of malicious ads, ursl and websites and remove them with care.

I agree with your decision!! Do not replace adguard with this software.

For everyone,please try and remember just because there is a giveaway for a software it does not make it a good piece of software.There are so many giveaways for sub par software which seem tempting because of the free price tag.However many of these can cause more trouble than they are worth.Many are not updated,have bugs and conflicts with other software.When it comes to your PC and your security sticking with well known vendors and their software is a much safer move,even if it requires paying for it.

I have AdGuard so I see no real reason to have this but have using it for anyone who does decide it's better for them.
