I have license's for both products so i'm asking you guys that have used these before, which one is the most secure? which one should I add to either my current setup or my kids pc's?

Honestly your kids don't need all those security apps, it will hamper their surfing.

Just put MSE/Win8 defender + Windows Firewall + UAC, under sandboxie free, on a limited account.

My oldest has a bad habit of installing crap is why I was thinking about installing one of those apps, have you tried both?
