Advice Request Aquarius folder

Hello

Is F-secure preparing to switch back to Bitdefender signatures? I found a folder aquarius in Safe. The folder contains on my system 2 other folders. But in those folders there are Capricorn files.

Doubtful, but I could be wrong.

The old previous Bitdefender engine in F-Secure was named Aquarius, so that's correct. I also have the same folder. It's available in Program/F-Secure/SAFE/Ultralight. If you check their official database ( scroll down )

F-Secure Latest Database Updates

dbtracker.f-secure.com

on the server side, Aquarius is still available and gets updates, but if that has some folder name correlations also in SAFE or is just a possible developer leftover.

I believe this is just a folder name that is unchanged from Bitdefender times.
Files inside are mostly Avira (Digital signature is from Avira)

I thought it was a leftover but with the acquisition of Avira, you never now that F-secure is going back to Bitdefender.

I'm going with @upnorth's theory that it's developer leftover.
