Thank you for the head's up. No, I do not have more than the text I sent you. To reiterate, it is Safe Finder which is the problem. Should I run the other programs? Anne Terri

Okay, let's go with this tool first:

Please download Zemana AntiMalware and save it to your Desktop.
  • Install the program and once the installation is complete it will start automatically.
  • Without changing any options, press Scan to begin.
  • After the short scan is finished, if threats are detected press Next to remove them.
Note: If restart is required to finish the cleaning process, you should click Reboot. If reboot isn't required, please restart your computer manually.
  • Open Zemana AntiMalware again.
  • Click on
    4zu6vb.jpg
icon and double click the latest report.
  • Now click File > Save As and choose your Desktop before pressing Save.
  • The only left thing is to attach saved report in your next message.

Running it on another one may cause damage and render the system unstable.

Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop:

Both files, FRST and fixlist.txt have to be in the same location or the fix will not work!

  • Right-click on
    FRST.gif
    icon and select
    RunAsAdmin.jpg
Run as Administrator to start the tool.
(XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File).
  • Press the Fix button just once and wait.
  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  • When finished FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt.

Please attach it to your reply.

How is your PC behaving now?

Thank you, All seems to be working much better now. We have publications on Kindle, but I guess it is not a good item.
Attached is the file you asked for. Let me know if you need more. We still have a popup C++ text prompt which keeps occurring in reference to Parental controls on the laptop. However, I do not know C++ This has been happening for a long time though, and it probably is not an adware problem. The computer is working faster also.

It is Easter... I Am Blessed you were working today.

Can you tell me what kind of pop-up are you experiencing? Picture would be nice.

I don't need more reports, your PC should be clean now.

Thank you, but check thing probably wouldn't work with PayPal :) It only accept credit card or donation from other PayPal account.

Don't worry, you can donate when you are in better position.
