[QUOTE="Game Of Thrones, post: 1105523, member: 23430"] the results are actually correct there are some things I think that we should consider: A 10 percent slowdown in a file copy operation vs. a 3 percent slowdown can cause testers to consider a product slower than the average or other products. However, in the real world, this 7 percent difference does not show itself to the end user. it seems the more CPU and faster SSD you have the antimalware solutions will be lighter so they use an average to low config PC to test. This difference is showing itself in AV-test performance tests. They use a low-end system and a high-end system if you see numbers that are different between these two. as we tested this ranking is accurate and ESET and Kaspersky provide the most balanced protection. performance and protection and false positives etc all are balanced and thoughtfully designed and executed the reason Mcafee is on top is that Mcafee scans the files on execution and not on access and it's heavily reliant on the cloud. which does not make it a balanced product.
