Final verdict Verdict: Malwarebytes has been hyped too much for being the best AV software for absolutely no reason. Their engine lacks basic remediation for behaviorally detected malware (as we saw the repetitive injector popups the whole video) and static detection for script malware - .CLASS, JS, PS1, PY, HTML, HTA, VBS, VBE, WSF, BAT, CMD, PDF, PHP. It also does not statically detect DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSx, PPT and more document-format files. I think that the counter of how many malware were missed is pointless in this case. We had several RAT's, infostealers and other downloaders that were able to set persistency, infosteal and provide remote access without being blocked. I wouldn't recommend this software at all. Their AdwCleaner and MBAM Browser Guard extension, though, are pretty decent and actually great products. This video is not sponsored.
