New AV-TEST and big surprise....Webroot was tested too after a long time
This test shows how an antivirus behaves with certain threats, in a specific environment and under certain conditions.
We encourage you to compare these results with others and take informed decisions on what security products to use.
Before buying an antivirus you should consider factors such as price, ease of use, compatibility, and support. Installing a free trial version allows an antivirus to be tested in everyday use before purchase.
Webroot ...ok that was predictable. but Malwarebytes and Bullguard are two other big losers in this test round
especially bullguard should improve their behavior blocker....they sold below their value
Agreed..It's actually a very good solution these days!I agree with you, Windows Defender is making many third party solutions look really bad nowadays.

In my opinion, Malwarebytes is still a very good second opinion scanner. It just wouldn't be a very good primary security product.I keep imagining a Malwarebytes comeback.
Maybe they really have 'jumped the shark' and are going the way of SuckyAntiSpyware.
I hope not...
