Yup, main colour is awful. About settinfs and the rest, remember this is 1st beta, so they will polish overall GUI, obviously.

I'm OK with the UI. I can honestly go for either the white, black or this new one. Whats under the hood is what counts IMO.

Usability has been greatly improved, looking forward to this upcoming update. Never was a fan of the Light vs Dark UI differences, it was a backwards step.

New UI is much improved. I don't see the problem that others are facing with the UI, it's not as if you're staring it all day, as you would with a browser.

preferences wise, never been a fan of big blocks etc, but between old avast ui and new one, i actually prefer V7 ui.

I like this UI. Easier to navigate. Previous UI was cumbersome to navigate through.

Pros:

• The color black and violet blends well on the new UI, something that is relax and not to stressful to use.
• The options are not cluttered which a good way to introduce for users.

Cons

• Already off when the color white button place on black and violet combination.
