I'm genuinely surprised to see Avast Free blocking my LOLbin inspired ransomware while Kaspersky Free allowed it to execute and encrypt my files.

Is this the end of Ransominator?

Why unfair? It's a free feature, if others don't have it...that's their loss, fair and square. KIS is paid.

Looks like data-mining actually helped them to improve hardened mode since it was introdduced years ago
