Hot Take Avast is the new king of false positives!

Whoever said Panda was the king of False positives? I never got a false positive with Panda Antivirus by the way.

I am running the latest version of Avast Premium Security and have done a custom install and chose nothing but the file shield, just one component.

Everytime I download a new EXE setup (ie, I just downloaded the new version of Audacity 3.7.4 to update my previous 3.7.3 and got this)

This is really getting on my nerves. I have all legit and licensed software downloaded directly from the manufacturer.

As much as I don't like ESET's HTTP scanner, I think I'm gonna go back to ESET as it gave me 0 false positives.

I generally didn't use Avast because it was annoying and not very effective for me, I use windows defender.

B, MD, and SEP gave me more FPs than Avast-AVG; with K less.

I have to admit, though, that the latest 3.6.4 x64 for Windows is unsigned, unlike the previous version. I would have waited to see why there is a discrepancy.
