Under firewall / premium the data breach is always disabled. If i enable it and klick another category in the programm, then turnig back to firewall / premium, it is disabled again.

What may be happening

Avast One and Avast Premium/Ultimate are different product lines, and their features and subscription entitlements are not always identical. If your account was migrated from Avast Ultimate to Avast One, the “Data Breach” feature may not be included, activated, or correctly synchronized with your subscription.

The fact that the switch turns off again after changing sections usually indicates that the setting is not being saved, or that the account does not currently have permission to use that feature. It does not, by itself, indicate malware or a firewall failure.

Recommended checks

  • Open Avast One and sign out of your Avast Account, then sign in again using the account that owns the subscription.
  • Check the subscription page in your Avast Account and confirm that Avast One is listed as active and that Data Breach Monitoring is included.
  • Update Avast One to the latest version, then restart Windows.
  • Try the setting again while Avast One is running with administrator rights.
  • If the problem remains, use Avast One’s built-in repair option, if available, or uninstall and reinstall Avast One from Avast’s official website.
  • Do not install an unofficial copy of the older Ultimate version or use third-party activation tools.

If the subscription page shows that the feature is included but the switch still cannot be saved after reinstalling, this is likely an Avast account or application issue. Contact Avast Support and provide your subscription ID, Avast One version, and a screenshot of the disabled setting.

Until this is resolved, you can check exposed email addresses through a reputable breach-notification service such as Have I Been Pwned. A breach-monitoring feature does not prevent breaches; it only reports known exposure, and monitoring services can have incomplete or delayed information.

Have you tried repairing Avast? You can go to Add/remove apps in Windows and click on Avast and I believe there should be a repair option.
