No doubt abt Kaspersky.. But it doesn't means that Avast is not good.. Avast is also the one of the finest Av..But my vote goes to the Kaspersky...

i would go with avast. with a costum install its one off the lightest out, lighter than kaspersky for sure. and if u tweek avast currectly its quit hard to get infected. no need to pay for a av if u can get good ones for free.

Avast for free, low cpu usage, low ram usage, user friendly and very customizable

- good detection
- good 0 day protection
- good disinfection
- very stable product
- light (on my system)

The are putting more money into it since they fired their Chef.
But it needs some time to catch up to the others.

Depends on malware pack, comsstv tested Panda and performed great.
