Serious Discussion AVG community has become a playing field with scammers.

Some of us complained on the F-Secure forum due to the lack of response for about 5-6 months last year into the beginning of this year. They have been more responsive lately with real Mod and Employee posts.

That is a good choice on their part.

I feel like I need to update this post because, since my complaint which was admittedly pretty snarky, cynical, and aggressive toward them they’ve actually started making improvements to their forums. I’ve also noticed that they now seem to have staff actively managing the AVG forums. Why this wasn’t done sooner, I’m not sure, but to their credit, they appear to have acknowledged their mistakes and are taking steps to correct them. I still think the criticism was justified at the time, but I’m also willing to recognize when things start moving in the right direction. I still love AVG and continue to recommend it.

Definitely aggressive, but may have contributed to the improvement. Better for everybody.
