Please note that the installation packages for Avira Antivirus Pro have been replaced by a combination of the new Online Essentials Launcher and the Avira Antivirus Pro product (version 1.1.19) for the languages English, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.

This means that, if you install the bundle, the Antivirus Pro installation is done automatically. The beta license is installed automatically, too.

If you already have an Avira Pro but no Launcher installed, please download the Launcher installation file and install it over the existing AV Pro.

An important note to those testers who already have a paid license that was bought in a shop or online:

You will need an additional account for Online Essentials (my.avira.com). Please create a new account and use an email address dedicated to this account only. Afterwards, switch to Betacenter and change your email address to the same address that you used to create your "beta" account for Online Essentials.

this new launcher imo sucks. plain and simple. they are forcing us to take a audio grabber???? i mean really ... what?? in a av? and dropbox, toolbar, online essentials, and a new stupid launcher. this is a bad move for them. i have been suggested to by someone pretty high up there will not be a custom installer from now on...so you will have to take everything or nothing

Main Focus in this beta version
All services in one list
The burger button on the top left has been removed and now all active and inactive services are displayed in one list. Inactive services will be displayed in grey.

UI improvements
Hovering over the Profilpicture does now display the action depending on the status (Offline, Change Picture, Register). While hovering you can also see your name instead of the protection status.

Long names will now be extended by "..." if the don't fit into the UI.

Grid Overview
The list view has been replaced by a grid view for a better overview of your installed Avira services.

Dropbox
Dropbox is now part of the Avira Launcher and can be installed directly from there.

Silent installation support
The Avira Launcher can now be installed completely silent using the "/quiet NOAFTERINSTALLPAGE=1" parameter.

We are now continiously testing the Avira Launcher also on Windows 10 in order to be prepared for the release. So far there have been no major issues.

• In some cases the "Upgrade" button was shown even though the Avira Antivirus Pro has already been installed.
• In some cases the Avira Launcher systray icon was not started after a restart of the service host.
• In some cases the Avira Launcher systray icon was not visible even though the systray process was running

Hi, I have some question. Yesterday I update my avira and its automatically install avira launcher. But after avira launcher installed, every time I shut down the PC, the notice box "End Program - Hidden Window" always appears. Is this a virus/malware ? How can I fix this problem? Thank you in advance.
