My choice of free softwares would be:

1: PDF-XChange PDF Viewer. Simply because of its features and performance.

2: qBittorrent. For its simplicity with no embedded adwares like some other alternative free torrent download managers.

3: AIMP music player: It is one of the high quality music player with lots of features and customizability.

4. Geek Uninstaller Free: Simple, Safe and effective uninstaller.

1 Sandboxie my no 1 choice if allowed
2 Privazer my best internet cleaner
3 Macrium for imaging
4 Sumatra PDF

Hi, you should limit to 3 choices as per introductory post. Is it okay if I take the first 3?

Only three choices per person. So first 3 should be fine?

My Free product votes

1) Sublime Notepad - I like the color coded formatting for HTML/CSS/Javascript and PHP, also you can group the tabs so that you can make your coding easier by comparing them.

Sublime Text isn't free. From their official website they require you to buy the product. You might want to pick another product.

Sublime Text may be downloaded and evaluated for free, however a license must be purchased for continued use. There is no enforced time limit for the evaluation.

It nags you then over and over again just like WinRar

Tixati (did I see utorrent earlier???????) - qBittorrent is good, but Tixati is in a whole different league, especially with recent additions such as VPN binding.

UltraDefrag - Ever wondered what a lighter, faster and better version of Auslogics Disk Defrag would be like, and without the crapware? Wonder no more. The answer is UltraDefrag

uBlock Origin = THE best adblocker (and so much more) around.

This is tough...quite a free software I use could be here. So I am mentioning the 3 that I mostly install on any system I manage or requested to look into.

7-Zip
VLC
Free Download Manager

jackuars, I think top 5 instead of top 3 would be better, what you say?

@jackuars: Well I see, but of course as a free version; limitations occur unless its unrestricted. :)

WPS Office as an example although no nagging pop-ups occur.

Its up to the developer implementation.

Yes, that's why WPS Office is no longer regarded as freeware by Softpedia, because of the restrictions involved and is classified as Demo. They also list Kingsoft Office in their database and given freeware status.

A

Alkajak

Everything CCleaner
f.lux
7-zip

Surprised someone voted for f.lux. Can't live without it after using it for a year now. Helps my eyes and helps me sleep. Quick disable from the taskbar if I want to watch something or play a game. Enable when browsing so my eyes aren't being irritated by blue light. Highly recommend it.
