These are the type of people that go on Reddit, Microsoft forums and everywhere to post all these comments.Ah you are a real home made professional
They don’t know that Trellix and Trend Micro both have VERY large customers (1 out 4 banks at one point used McAfee), they don’t know that the home version was rewritten in 2022-2023 (despite several threads I created here), they don’t know that the home version now has got nothing to do with the EDR.
They just go around repeating whatever they’ve read “McAfee is bAaAD”, “dOnT InsTalL McAfee BSODs will OcCurrrrrr”, “McAfE is A VuRus”…
That’s the typical representation of the audience that always goes around to criticise with 0 reading, 0 knowledge.
How does it compare to kaspersky? Does it have Application Control Module or something similar to it, for instance?
Why does it need to compare to Kaspersky? I put all the technology in a single thread, you can find it.
There are many that are top notch.

If I can not drive, it does not matter if I have Ferrari or Lada.
Lack of knowledge of how you can get your PC infected means one day K, McAfee, B, ESET, Norton, or whichever you consider top notch will let you down one day and this day will ultimately come.
The differences between reputable AVs including MD is not statistically significant (we are seeing figures between 99.9% and 98%); what really matter is your brain; get enough sleep, plenty of omega-3 and you will not get infected.
MD, Kaspersky Free, Bitdefender Free, Avast, Avira and AVG are worse than Padvish, Farez, SiliVacine, K7, 360 Total Security?

Banifu Sniper is another example of a great antivirus but from Kenya.
Oh from these regimens and forms of management I expect only the best, one privacy-respecting and preserving software, highly proficient. Will wipe all malwares and nastywares clean in no time.
I haven’t done military and I am bit… you know. Tight when it comes to snipers and bunnies….
But I am open to trying, if it will protect my system well.
