I tested Bullguard many months ago, on Win 7, good engine by Bitdefender and yes, it is quite heavy on resources. I had an annoying and random problem with the firewall, blocking my connection. I solved by entering in the advanced configuration, but I don't well remember the fact.

I can't with good conscience recommend this for gamer's, it's way too resource hungry.
