Question Can using ad-blocking DNS servers stop fridge ads?

Help answer the author's question with clear explanations and useful steps.
Can using ad-blocking DNS servers, such as NextDNS and ControlD, for modem router settings block ads dispalyed by Samsung smart fridges?
Yes, simply because in order to charge them for ADs, they have to be able to track them, so they use separate domains.

My daughter recently bought a 'smart' appliance, not totally sure which but some needed features which could (should) be accessed from the unit itself can only be used by using an app, a truly ridiculous++ situation where having to use an app leaves you tracked for all eternity & leaves you wide open to the evildoers, of course the makers will love this situation as now units are nothing but info gathering devices, hopefully people will learn to avoid such products, after the recent situation where fridges in France etc heated up but folk will often think its smart so it must be better, ??:confused::confused:

I search for the dumbest home appliances in the market; I even trying to avoid those with inverter compressors 🤨

Inverter compressors are good. Just don’t go for 16-inch screens powered by software that gets one Android update in all of its lifetime.
Btw the compressors are mostly from Midea (GMCC and Wellimg) so whichever fridge you pick, there is over 50% chance the compressor is coming from the same factory.
