Solved Cant get rid of Givemeredbottle.icu

Hi everyone, I'm posting on here to get some help. I've tried multiple tools and none of them are recognizing this adware called givemeredbottle.icu. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this one and would know how to remove it. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Peter!

You probably have push messages enabled for this site. Follow this tutorial:

Settings > site setting > notifications > block it

Awesome, thank you. I was able to block it. Is that really all there is to it? What about removing it completely?

On a side note, why didnt of the scanners pick this up? I used all the "top" ones, and they found nothing.

Scanners only flag files on the system, this looks like a browser notification from a site you've allowed.

chrome://settings/content/notifications

Global Setting:

• Blocked = OFF
• Allow = ON
  • Block List
  • Allow List
