If you want a good av for free you can try Sophos home premium( beta )or fs protection(beta).
they are both good and less buggy than the stable release of Avast.

Well that update last time April 11, 2015 please try poper blocker! to block all bad pop ups, you are using an old one that don't block all pop ups! I just want you to be secure
