slim version is available since today..
Thanks, after seeing your post, I downloaded the slim version and
installed it over the top, like I always do.
Sandboxie users, who keep sandboxes, should be extra careful since
this new version has Sandboxie listed under "Utilities". Sandboxie its
selected on default and it will delete sandboxes that are saved.
Personally, I always delete the contents of my sandboxes, never
keeping any around so this will not affect me but being careful, I
unselected Sandboxie anyway.

RE: Ccleaner v3.07.1457

Hey guys, Ccleaner is indeed excellent and it can be even better with CCEnhancer (http://thewebatom.net/software/ccenhancer/):

"CCEnhancer is a small tool which adds support for over 500 new programs into the popular program CCleaner. The tool uses the winapp2.ini system built into CCleaner to easily add new rules and definitions for programs. The rules were sourced mainly from the Piriform Support Forum, with several sourced from other places around the internet."

Probably all of you already know about this, but I hope it can be useful to someone. Best regards.

Looks like they've removed the Slim build, unless I missed it.

Thanks for the update Bo. They always seem to delay the Slim and PortableU3 releases.

I just wonder, how many of you have installed the standard version lately?

On the last 4 or 5 version updates, the standard version didn't have anything bundled with it.
On the version before those, all it had bundled was Google Chrome. As far as I know, they don't bundled anything but Google Chrome now. If you already have Google Chrome installed, then it doesn't try to install anything else. They removed the toolbar long time ago and it was just optional when they did bundle it.

I don't understand why all of these users wait for the slim version, are they too lazy to uncheck Google Chrome?

The standard version is perfectly safe, if you don't want Google Chrome, then uncheck it and continue on.
I have read that the slim version will be discontinued soon, since it is no longer needed.

Thanks.:D

Not at all...

The Slim version is about 1MB smaller. Not a huge difference, but why download something you're never going to use?

Are all the users that just download the main version too lazy to wait for the Slim version which contains only what they need? :p
