Microsoft has this awesome tradition of releasing unconventional garments for its fans, giving them a way to celebrate the company's history with stuff like "ugly sweaters" with Windows XP's legendary "Bliss" wallpaper, Paint, or even Minesweeper. Now, the company is back with yet another garderobe banger and a real conversation starter: limited edition Windows XP crocs.
The new Microsoft Limited Edition Crocs Bundle has everything you love from the bygone era of early 2000 computing: blue and green tones, sky wallpapers, classic Windows icons, MSN (this thing is still not dead), Internet Explorer, Clippy, and a big black cursor. Microsoft says the new crocs are inspired by some of its most recognizable moments, including Windows XP.
“As part of Microsoft’s 50th anniversary celebration, we’re releasing a Microsoft Limited Edition Crocs Bundle that includes nostalgic nods like Windows XP-inspired Crocs, custom Jibbitz™ charms, and a Bliss-themed drawstring backpack,” said Frank Shaw, chief communications officer at Microsoft.
This exclusive footwear was first spotted in August, when Microsoft let its employees preorder Microsoft Limited Edition Crocs on a "first come, first serve" basis for $80. Sadly, it does not seem like Microsoft wants to sell these to the general public, but you can try your luck at winning them. The company hosts a giveaway on Instagram, where you can win the Crocs by liking and commenting "#MicrosoftCrocSweepstakes" under the post. The contest is running from now through October 7, 11:59 PM.

Celebrate 50 years of Microsoft with these sick Windows XP crocs
Microsoft has some seriously cool footwear to celebrate 50 years on the market. It also caters to fans of Windows XP, one of the most beloved Windows releases.
