Which is the best/most user-friendly file manager for a regular user?
I am considering:
Total Commader
Directory Opus
XYplorer
WinNc.
Now I use Total Commander on Win 7 but I wonder about other options.
Please help me in choosing.

I don't play around with file managers, but I ended up with Free Commander. Features I like about it (not knowing what others offer):
1. attribute search
2. 2 panes
3. history
4. filter

The only problem I've ever had with it was font scaling on a 2017 Surface device, which I didn't manage/get around to fix. The tolerable annoyance I have had with it is the speed dealing with the right-clicks on items.

I really love this file manager. It's simple, minimalistic and elegant. There are tabs, two panels, Git and cloud storage support. The main thing is that you can customize sorting by creation date as the default sort, also it can completely replace Explorer and be the default file manager. The only downside is that even in background idle it loads CPU by 1-1.5% for some reason, so I unload it when I don't use it.
