Hi, I guess my problem is solved!!! Thank you so much! And, I am very sorry for not being able to reply back and update you. I never imagined that it will take me almost 2 weeks to fix problems with my ISP. I reset the router as you suggested and for some reason my internet service just stopped. No matter what I did, it wont restart even after the ISP reset my passwords. Finally, the ISP figured out that my router itself may be damaged and we replaced that. Now it works fine and for past 3 hours (at least) I have not seen any pop up adds. So I assume that my laptop and router both are free from the malware. I am not sure if whatever-infected-us could damage the router or if it was some random but concurrent event. Thanks again. Best Sumeet
