Hi everyone, I’d really appreciate some guidance on Claude identity verification.

I have physical payment cards and am planning to help 20–50 different real users per day purchase separate Claude Max subscriptions. Each user will verify their own identity for their own account.

The current blocker is that the verification flow rejects users before they can upload an ID. Has anyone encountered this? What should users check about the verification link or session, browser, or account status, and how can they tell whether retrying is appropriate?

I’m looking for the normal onboarding and payment process. Thank you for your help.

Additional context: Our users are Chinese. I’m using a Swiss IP address when attempting to subscribe their accounts to Claude Max. Every subscription attempt triggers a KYC prompt, and the flow fails before an ID can be uploaded.

Each user will complete verification themselves for their own account. What legitimate checks should we make to determine whether the accounts are eligible and whether the verification sessions are working correctly?
