Optional suggestion: To avoid any mistakes may happen for testing malware samples, better take it to virtual machine but not a problem if conduct in real system as long you prepare a backup.

Hello Colorado, have you had a chance to restore the image of your disk or partitions with your AX64 Time Machine software? If so, is it worked and restored the image consistent when it was shot ?
