Is it only CIS 2025 Pro from link on Comodo site being affected by the issue?
Link downloads premium installer which is the free version. The Pro was meant to give you the option to revert to the free version but it was hit and miss when you got the pop-up for that.

You need to download the Premium version. Direct Link: Comodo Premium Installer. Having said that, there's currently a expired certificate issue today that they're resolving.
Hello, how do I solve this by asking to uninstall and install a new one that will be released?
For those who have several machines and clients with this software? Will I have to do it manually on each machine?
Will an update via database update be a solution or not?

Hello, I would like to know if this revoked certificate will cause problems for those who have already had CIS 2025 operating since its launch?
If there is a problem, what would it be?

The above should say:

Malwarebytes pays the BiniSoft developer to continue updates on the product, however it has been a Commerical failure.
ok thanks -- but unless my memory is failing, :giggle: WFC is free with occasional non-annoying "notices" re Malwarebytes, and IIRC WFC Binisoft before the acquisition by Mbam was also free download, so perhaps "failure" in number of users, but my sense is its users do like it. (fwiw) (& I could be wrong about cost comments). current version I have 6.11.0.0

It'll just be installer certificate issue but you can always check your installed certificates Check Certificates Windows if you open the certificate manager you can search for Comodo and it'll list them with the expiration dates in the results box.

FWIW, someone reported that it also affects already installed CIS 2025 popping up security error window at times.

The original BiniSoft Windows Firewall Control was $10 USD for a license that unlocked features. The free version had features disabled.

Malwarebytes purchased the BiniSoft product with the intent of incorporating it into its Malwarebytes products, but for whatever reasons that never happened. So now it just serves as a Malwarebytes adware application.

The product is not commercially viable. It has zero ($0) revenue and therefore its ongoing maintenance is being subsidized by Malwarebytes subscribers. Once Malwarebytes stops paying the BiniSoft developer he will likely stop maintaining it.

When Malwarebytes needs to make expense\cost cuts, Windows Firewall Control will be among the first items on the chopping block.

Some people say CIS 2025 stops working due to revoked certificate.
Other people say CIS 2025 doesn't recognize the files on the file list anymore due to same issue.
Despite all that Comodo says users are still protected.
Magic!

"Some people say, other people say..."

That sure sounds like unreliable infos.

Might be true. Might not be true. He said, she said is not evidences. Any reliable videos showing the problems? That prove there is a reduction in protection?

Despite all that Comodo says users are still protected.
Magic!
Where did Comodo officially state "Users are still protected even with this problem"?

Some low-level Comodo staffer saying something on the Comodo forum is not an official company statement. An official statement is made by a senior executive, usually through public relations or a public infos release usually made on a designated web page (similar to Microsoft's official statements on its web resources).

Only designated senior company personnel can make official statements. An employee of said company making some comment is never an official statement on behalf of the company. This is established by corporate law.

Melih trolling users that are upset about a product they do not pay for on social media is not an official Comodo statement.

Melih and ozer.metin did say so.
If they can be considered low-level staff?

Sure, there is no video evidence of the problem only a few reports till now from users with pictures attached which say enough I think.

Where did they say it? Link?

only a few reports till now from users
All other AV receive "only a few reports" every single day. That means millions of users have problems with AV other than Comodo.

Software has bugs. It creates issues. It is no big deal. Melih's crew should be able to fix it. It is just an expired certificate problem. Easy fix.

Want to get Melih and Ozer to order improvements?

I lived in Türkiye for a long while. The concept of honor is still very much a part of Turkish society and peoples' self image. The concept of a person's in Türkiye is similar to that in Japan.

Essentially state: "The problems with Comodo are a reflection of Melih's and Ozer's Kişisel Onur" and you just might get some results. It would take extensive effort on social media. Don't say it on the Comodo forum. You'll get banned from the forum on your first try.

Like most everything in life, the more that people complain, the more likely that they will get what they want. It takes a large group of people working in unison to accomplish such things. Complaining on a product forum generally generates very few results and this is true of all the AV publishers. You have to complain loudly and often on social media (Facebook, X, Twitter, Reddit, TikTok, etc).

If and only if there was a single Türk there which is not the case almost a century.

As I expected, new installers are on the way.

ilgaz Comodo Staff quote:

"Hi all, we are communicating with our Certificate Authority to solve this problem within a couple of days. After that we will create new installers for CIS 2025 (both online and offline) and replace those fresh installers with the
old ones that are currently available."

For Comodo even that doesn't work. They are immune to all complaints and they deny almost all problems. The only thing that staff replies on reported bugs or on other issues on their forum is: "The team is working on it, we'll keep you posted." But you'll never hear anything again from them. Don't call us we'll call you. :ROFLMAO:

More and more people are complaining that installed CIS 2025 version stops working and yet they are still being told you are protected.
Who should we believe?

Even uninstalling CIS 2025 seems an impossible task.
