Thanks for sharing the video of your tests. The auto-generated subtitles work fine. Looking forward to your future contributions to the forum. See you around!

thanks for the video, but I have not watched it yet, I may or may not. for me & perhaps others, I like to read a brief text summary of what the video shows with your short conclusion. @Shadowra does this very well, and @cruelsister's posts and text notes during her videos are greatly appreciated. I'd like to read something about the video from you before I commit to watching video (ditto for any video posted by anyone here).

You're a really annoying bot. Speaking for others. How do you know that the auto-generated subtitles work for everyone?

I do some comments in the end of the video but Ill do it for any video testing antivirus from now on :) Ill edit the descriptions of my av tests videos with some sort of feelings for the results people will find in the videos.

In malware tests, default-deny setups deliver excellent results. What do you think about a usability test of Comodo? You can test Comodo with installation, update, and uninstallation of popular, uncommon, open source, and independent developer programs, both signed and unsigned.
in this same video I talk a little about it and explain why I do not recommend cis for everyone. and the usability is one of the most important aspects for me not recommending cis :p if you guys need, i can make an subtitle for the entire video in some languages. atleast these subs i can provide are better than the automatic ones from yt.

I just made another video putting cis without av + kasper av free against 100 newly released malwares. im doing the edits and ill publish this video with subtitles. as soon as its good to go online ill provide the link in this forum. and this test was done with the cis 2025 installer (the one that no one can install as a problem with revoked cert is going on). in the video i explain how to install it even with the cert problem. just disable network adapter and install from the offline installer :p

The prevailing "model" when it comes to consumer (home user) security solutions, is this:

1. It is too much for consumers to read the manual.
2. It is too much for consumers to gain the knowledge to become more secure.
3. It is too much for consumers to prioritize security.
4. The best thing we can do in security software is to compensate for the hoomans by making the software as simple as possible because the hoomans cannot cope with settings, alerts, notifications, etc - and this is actually backed-up by many user and software usability studies from credible, reliable research.
5. "Making software as simple as possible" can only be accomplished by as few settings and configuration options - usually less than about twenty (20). Any hidden settings or configurations is a disqualification to "simple" and the argument "Home users do not look at or bother with the settings" is absurd. Anything more than the twenty (20) of the most simple, stupid-as-a-rock-can-understand the settings CANNOT meet the industry-wide definition of "simple, easy, usable software for the masses."

The most idiotic part in all of this is the concept that software can compensate for people and all the "stuff" that they do or do not do is... it just is not possible. Even the latest and greatest AI can be unraveled by consumers.
