Having an unnecessary process running on my system is not what I would want either.
Outside of Comodo Firewall, it appears all of their products are full of bugs and not usable.

Did you know Comodo time machine, when it was first released it rendered many machines unbootable.

Yes I now about that not only after it was first released but even the most recent version had problems, the last that I heard Comodo gave up on Time Machine and discontinued it. I don't think they ever could get it to work right.

It technically hasn't been discontinued. They're waiting on more info about the restore features in Windows 8, so development is on hiatus.
