Comparative Indian Antivirus : K7 Total Security 2021 vs QuickHeal Total Security 2021

The 2 softwares have the same modules: Firewall, Web protection etc, even if QuickHeal has additional modules (Webcam protection, Anti-Tracking etc).</p><p></p><p><u><strong>ApTime :</strong></u></p><p></p><p>K7 starts Edge in 36ms while QuickHeal does it in 42ms . </p><p>Not too much delay.</p><p></p><p><u><strong>Phishing Protection:</strong></u></p><p></p><p>A big ZERO for K7 which blocked none!</p><p>QuickHeal blocked 2, it's very weak...</p><p></p><p><u><strong>Malware URL protection :</strong></u></p><p></p><p>The 2 antiviruses blocked everything.</p><p></p><p><u><strong>Malware Pack:</strong></u></p><p></p><p>K7 found 5173 malware while QuickHeal found 5103.</p><p>I found K7's scan much faster, but it took longer to remove (it even ran K7 Desinfector to remove files infected with viruses like MyDoom, Sobig, Chir.B or Neshta)</p><p>QuickHeal is slower to scan, but this is explained. The antivirus software deletes at the same time, so it takes longer to scan.</p><p></p><p>At runtime, K7 is the best!</p><p>Very few malwares pass, K7 intercepts some of them.</p><p>QuickHeal, on the other hand, is something else. Even if it intercepts a lot of malware, it also lets a lot of it through! (especially PolyRansom which certainly could not start because the antivirus was attacking it) but it was always present and threatening! )</p><p></p><p><u><strong>Origami Ransomware :</strong></u></p><p></p><p>The 2 antiviruses have blocked the attack. A little faster with K7.</p><p></p><p><u><strong>Overall Test :</strong></u></p><p></p><p>K7 makes a virtual machine free of infection. Only 2/3 of the infections are found by Norton but can be easily removed.</p><p>QuickHeal is a cold shower... Many infections are found by anti-malware tools!
